Shouldn't the AP just report the news of his death. This is the most jaded article I have ever seen. Jeeze. You would think that He raped and killed babies.

I have no idea what you are talking about. In fact, I think that right-wingers could use the same statements to brag about his accomplishments.

My post has nothing to do with whether or not the AP is biased as a whole. I was speaking solely of the article which you imply has a liberal slant. Help me ferret out the uberlibs by explaining to me how their statements in that article are biased.

You have to learn to read between the lines my friend. They are asserting that He would have supported Bush whether the constitution supported his decision or not. President Bush won the election by the rules set forth by our government. If we want to change the rules, that is one thing, but you don't change the rules of a football game after it is played.
Anyway, I know we don't see eye to eye on things Fernandomike. There is no point in talking about this. I believe that this article is slanted, you do not. I can live with that.

You are one hell of an interesting fellow. I hope that I am not reading between the lines too much, but you take the time to make an argument then basically request that I not retort. :) Anyway, I will do as you ask and not turn this in to a debate.

Reading between the lines and inserting ones that aren't anywhere close to what the article says are two different things. There's no slant here, he died & they ran down his accomplishments and activities through the time he was in office, which spanned a long time.
What exactly in the article did you see as 'jaded'?

I am glad he was surrounded by his family when he passed, and I hope it was painless and peaceful...

I agree with you, GC Rule. The man served our country for a long time.
