You didnt hear?? They have all built a shrine in the honor of Urban Meyer in Florida and spend their days there like monks in a monastary. They arent allowed to use the internet or phones, and arent even allowed to talk. They just walk around all day slowly chanting" UUUUUUURRRBBBBBAAAAAANNNNN....................MMMM MMMEEEEEYYYYYYEEEEEERRRRRRRRR.

That's probably the funniest thing I've heard in a long time. I laughed out loud in the middle of my college database class when i read it. It is so true though about Florida fans loving Meyer, but the same is true of Spur being at USC.
The defense if going to be very good this year. Even in spring practice Meyer refered to them as a "special defense" I think this a good compliment coming from Meyer who is rarely optimistic. I'll get back on here later when I'm free and tell you more about our D.

UF fans have a reason to be excited, and I've always said that I thought Meyer would do great while at UF. If the SEC keeps stockpiling coaches like this then it WILL be impossible to go through undefeated, no matter how good the team is.

too true.

The national championsip is a joke now anyways.

The SEC Championship is the real deal!

By the time USC makes it to the championship game, there will be a playoff system in place and it won't matter if you've got a loss or two.

C&P from the Georgia Sports blog:

"I couldn't make this up if I tried. Urban Meyer has his own cereal now. I guess the rest of the SEC should all be thankful that it's just Corn Flakes and not Meyer branded Wheaties. Rumor has it that just 1 bowl of Meyer Flakes has all the vitamins and minerals a growing gator needs to walk on water, point, stare and score eleventy billion points per game in the SEC.

Be like Urban Meyer. Eat his cereal. Besides, neither you or Meyer has ever coached a college team to victory over a BCS conference team with less than 4 losses in that season."

They are all gorging themselves on this:

Well around here we have anything and everything Spurrier. Some Cocks fan in California made a SOS wine and some guy from Charleston is selling "Why not us" barbeque sauce... :p

I don't know how to say this delicately enough to not further injure the thin skinned SC fans Jerry, but I wasn't taken aback when I heard about the BBQ sauce, but the wine thingy is on a par with the cereal....

Zook was NEVER a HC, and he still had a winning record against da dawgs. What's your point, klutz? And, hey, I'd rather have Meyer's cereal than uga's dawg sh$t.....your sideline must be kickin' during afternoon games. Does uh-ga provide a scholarship for the dawg-scheisse "picker-upper," lol???

Zook was YOUR HC, led your team to 4-5 loss seasons, and you can't run away from it. But, since you is nothing but another UUUURRRRBBBBAAAANNN MMMMEEEEEYYYYYEEEEERRRRR zombie awakened for today's game, taking solace in the moral victories over UGA is all you got anyway. Say, when was the last time FU won a bowl game?????

Best pray you're team is eating Wheaties sonny boy, I want them in good shape when the WLOCP comes around and the Dawgs mud stomp them back to the primordial slime.

Yeah, yeah.....so lemme get this straight: Spurrier goes ape scheisse on you in the 90s, hapless Zook secures a winning record during his less-than-stellar, 3-year stint at Florida, and those are supposed to be "moral" victories? LOL....revisionist history or delusional behavior.....I can't decide.

U gotta lotta catching up to do if we're going to use the 5-year rule.....even more if we expand our scope to a 15-year window.
