The mid-majors need the money to pay for their athletic department. It makes the field of teams in D1 football better. I do not see a problem.

Case in point would be how the Vols payed Wyoming to come play at Neyland and then play their home game against us in Nashville. They got some exposure nationally and improved enough to beat Ole Miss and have a pretty good season last year.

I don't know how much tickets cost at Georgia, but ballpark figure is it takes 80,000 fans paying $7.50 to make 600K. So figure in the coaches salary, electric bill, referees, and discretionary fund. At say $35 a ticket, plus concessions, plus TV money, plus licensing agreements. Yeah, after the first couple games the rest of the season is profit.
