I found this article and got a good laugh out of it. I know I'm going to catch hell from the UT fans about "having an agenda" but screw it (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/28/AR2005082800865.html)!!!

As if you needed to post this article to show us you have an agenda. ;)
Shad does a nice hatchet job on Fulmer and the Vols. While some of it is very deserving, labeling the whole team as a bunch of thugs is over the line. Tennessee fans knew this would be coming with the wonderful off-season the Vols have had. That is fine, the university probably deserves some shots. I guess there is not enough poker tournaments for Shad to write about, so he figures he would beat a dead horse.

Very funny stuff....
In light of the problems this year I hear Phil Phulmer is catching up to FSU coach Bobby Bowden's record....
for court appearences with players! :p
I'm just messing with you Vols that may read this, all programs have problems, UT just had a few more than others this year ;)

I think the real question is why is Phil so unwilling to cut some of these bad eggs loose? USC doesn't have nearly the talent or depth that UT does but SOS booted every one of the thugs off our team. I mean with the talent at UT these kids are easily replaceable. He leaves himself very open to shots like this being taken at him. It's quite puzzling... Just my .02....

He does it for the very same reason that Ron Zook let a thing or two slide while at Florida. He's afraid without these players/depth that he may loose a game or two he maybe shouldn't and put his job in jeopardy. I know Phil is the winningest coach in the SEC or whatever right now, but these TN fans (at least where I live) seem to never be happy with Fulmer. He usually has a lot more talent that what the yearly end record shows that's for sure. A few losses that shouldn't be and these people would be calling for his head I think...

Looks like this egghead in DC was prophetic.
I will have to keep an eye on his column.

Funny article...and much deserved. I do find it a bit hipocritical, however, that someone from such a law abiding place like D.C. would take shots at someone else's indiscressions. BUT, once again, it's easier to find fault in the neighbors' yard than it is to honestly critique your own!! Screw the Slouch!!
