As Miles met with reporters on the field following the scrimmage on Saturday, the LSU band marched its way into the stadium, which prompted the following response from the coach, "when they were coming down the hill, you could hear them and it gave me goose bumps. The team was fired up too. Everybody turned and looked at each other, and it's a tell-tale sign that the fall is getting closer."
After completing the first major scrimmage of the season Saturday morning consisting of some 110 snaps, Miles said, "We appear to be a very physical football team!" Yeah boy!
