Fan Day is Sunday at 3:00 PM at LSU at the Charlie McClendon practice field due to construction at Tiger Stadium. The event will end at 4:00 PM and that is not a lot of time to meet the players and get autographs. The gates will open at 2:00 PM and I would recommend that fans arrive as early as possible. Fans are asked to park in the gravel lot in front of the LSU Soccer Complex. Parking is also available in Lot D, which is located next to Alex Box Stadium, and at the Vet School.
This year's LSU Football Fan Day will feature first-year coach Les Miles and his staff along with 105 Tiger football players. Fans will be able to meet and get autographs from players and coaches starting at 3 PM. In addition to the picture taking and autographs, threw will also be an interactive area for children. Mike the Tiger, the LSU cheerleaders along with the LSU women's soccer and volleyball teams will be on hand for the event. Interactive games with the LSU women's soccer and volleyball teams will take place between 2 and 3 p.m. at the McClendon Practice Facility. The first 4,000 fans through the gates on Sunday will receive a Fan Day Goodie Bag, which includes a 2005 LSU football schedule magnet, the popular schedule placard poster and the 2005 LSU football poster. The next 2,000 fans will receive a placard poster and the 2005 LSU football poster.
