Tiger Stadium opened in 1924. Since then, lowly little Ole Miss has beaten the mighty Bayou Bengals on their home turf some 23 times - or roughly 40% of the time. I don't know if I'd go as far as to say that all visitors are owned when they come to Tiger Stadium... It's also fair to note that we didn't always play every year, so there are several years that we didn't play at all, and some in there that we played on neutral turf (Jackson, Vicksburg, New Orleans).

Dude,It was a spear.He should have been thrown out of the game,and on top of the hit he took his helmet off and there was no flag.

Actually, it looks legal in that picture. If Brown doesn't crumple when he catches the ball, Rosegreen plants him with his helmet halfway up Brown's midsection.

It is but it has to be taken in context with the rest of the play. I didn't see it but I can "imagine" what the refs saw and that was Brown crossing the middle, catching the ball, and coiling up to take a hit while Rosegreen has already started his tackling motion. That's why you see very little spearing calls across the middle because the WR will put himself into that position where the DB has no other chance at tackling outside of the cheeseball ACL tearing shoulder-to-knee tackle.

How many rushing yards did he have against you guys? I believe it was over 100. He was also running with a hernia in his pelvis. That's got to hurt.
