I posted that interview in the Blue Ribbon prediction thread. WDavE said he was acting stupid on purpose for an interview on the Jumbotron or something and that lots of players were doing it.

They did these on the jumbotron where each player was clearly trying to outdo the other by saying something outrageous? It was all in fun... Some of the others were just as goofy.
