Starting FB Des Williams tore a pectoral muscle yesterday when a weight fell on him while he was working out. He will likel receive a medical redshirt for the 2005 season.

considering some of your RBs are HUGE, how much do you guys even rely on a FB?

This injury will make way for Brannen Southerland. Southerland will be a RS FR. this year. This kid ran Odell Thurman over last year while he was the scout team FB. Here is a picture. I am looking forward to seeing this kid play.

Well, at least it shouldnt hurt you guys too much. Still, its always sad to hear about a player having to sit out for a whole year.

Wont hurt at all hell if anything it helps us were loaded at TB ware/lumpkin are suppose to get playing time at FB this year but Brandon is a beast Ive seen highschool vides of this kid and he can do it all catch run block hes a solid SOLID FB
