I know it's been a week since the latest news rolled out of Gamecock Country, but I wondering what impact this will have on next years recruiting. That is if USC suggested penalties are up held. My personal opinion (which worth less than two cents) is it will have a negative impact, but not a large one.
I think what will affect us more is how many games we win next year. If we win more than six I don't see the sanctions have much if any effect.
If we six or less I think it could have an effect on some big time recruits.
There is no doubt other schools will use the violations against us. The only real way make sure it doesn't hurt is win.

If we can get out of this with the sanctions that we are proposing, it won't have any effect on recruiting. I think the biggest thing is to find a way to avoid a bowl ban. If we can get out of that, we'll be fine. I wouldn't worry about the other schools that we compete with, most of them have had the same problems. I agree with you that the biggest factor is wins and losses.

I don't think it will affect recruiting at all. The final decision will be made before the season starts and the outcome of the season will put away those thoughts. Most people will forget that USC even had NCAA problems.

As much TV time as USC is going to get this year it's going to matter very little... Just my $.02
