LSU would like to sign at least five offensive linemen in the 2006 signing class and at this time has received commitments from Anthony Boudreaux (6’7”, 370) from Dodge City Junior College and Matt Allen (6’3”, 290) from Klein, Texas. LSU is recruiting the states of Texas and Mississippi very hard for offensive linemen and is in very good shape with three or four top offensive linemen in those two states. The coaching staff is also keeping a close eye on on at least three offensive lineman prospects in Louisiana.

That's a good point. Winning improves recruitment. High school kids with big-time talent want to go where they can win and be show-cased. That fact is a big help to LSU recruiting right now. I fully expect Darth Visor to raise the winning level at South Carolina, producing better and better recruiting classes. Also, the reputation that Spurs has as a superb college coach will help the Gamecocks as well, especially when it comes to recruiting highly-touted QBs.
