I couldn't remember if this has been done before, but I was wondering which teams have the most fans on here. I assume it's my Gamecocks (since the best teams bring out the most fans ;) ), but it appears we have a bunch of new faces on here in the last couple of months. So, who's your SEC team?

Now that's hate! When you pull for the team playing UT more than you pull for your own SEC team (Arkansas), that is pure and adulterated hatred. :D

Now that's hate! When you pull for the team playing UT more than you pull for your own SEC team (Arkansas), that is pure and adulterated hatred. :D
It's either hate or taking your eyes off the ball....you should never hate another team as much as you love your own. Gotta respect the passion of UT-contempt though! lol ;)

LOL! I have to agree with you on the "respect your superiors" thing! :D It's ok though Foxman..I actually have taken a liking to UT since I have been posting on this forum. Seems to me that the UT fans on here are actually pleasant and intelligent people..as for some of the other teams fans I cannot say the same ;)

LOL! I have to agree with you on the "respect your superiors" thing! :D It's ok though Foxman..I actually have taken a liking to UT since I have been posting on this forum. Seems to me that the UT fans on here are actually pleasant and intelligent people..as for some of the other teams fans I cannot say the same ;)

Glad to hear it GCR. I have also been impressed with the Gamecocks on this board. I never thought much of USC before, but as a whole, you, Cocky, and the rest of the USC contingent represent the school very well.

I hated UT more than any other team in the SEC before I came to this board. UT fans have the calm confidence that goes along with being a winner. I never see UT fans gets shrill and resort to name calling like some fans from other schools do. Troxel was the one bad-egg, but that was handled nicely by the admins. I've really done a 180 on my thinking towards UT in the last few months.

Yes, we were very lucky. Most championship teams have a game or two were they really needed a bounce or two to survive. Anyway, you beat us the next year in the revenge game. Time to let go of the hatred. It has been a good, clean, closely-contested rivalry between two teams with similar styles.

And a lot more Arkansas fans. This site is starting to attract fans from more schools, which I think will be good for it.

Sounds like to me The Hawg of Honors should be hating Stoerner for fumbling the ball. The Vols just did what every good team is suppose to do with a turnover and that is turn it into points.

I am also a fan of Florida and Memphis (I got that from a friend of mine and the fact that I live 40 minutes from Memphis), so I guess I can still hate Tennessee, right? And yes, I am not a fan of Stoerner as much as most of Hog Nation is. I always thought he was the beneficiary of a great recieving core and just an average quarterback at best.

I think you are talking about bama fans,lol.Oh man Troxel was a jerk,I hated that guy,I think even UT fans hated him. :D

Hey, Foxman, what is it that Spurrier says.....something about if they hate that's because they can't beat you? Take it as a complement. :) I have to admit that I don't care for Tennessee much, but probably because we've come so close a few times recently, but couldn't get the job done. The OT game in Knoxville 2 years ago was a heartbreaker. I hope that in a few years, I start liking Tennessee more though. :p

The 6OT game a while back was even more of a heartbreaker. Funny, we usually win those games.

Yeah, that was a great game. I can only say that because USC wasn't playing in it. One OT almost gave me a heartattack. I'm sure by the 3rd, I would have been in an Ambulance.

Just a guess, but I think the Vols are pretty much there already. One of my best friends went to Ga. Tech, and other than Georgia (for obvious reasons), Tennessee is the team that most ACC fans seem to hate the most from the SEC. I imagine it's probably that way for most of the rest of the nation. Although there is one game I can pull for the Vols in hands down each year, and that's against Notre Dame. After the way they treated Willingham, I'm not sure anyone other than Clemson could dethrone them as my most hated team.

Maybe it's because of how damn annoying "Rocky Top" is. Pehaps the worst song in the history of music.
