MLB SUCKS!

It's one thing after another. The players don't want a salary cap, revenue sharing and want a percentage of the owners profits. What's next????

Then you have the steroid scandal. I could go on forever.....

I agree with all that, but for some reason I have to watch the Braves. I guess it is just something for me to follow during the summer because once college football starts, I don't really care about the MLB, ESPECIALLY when the Braves lose in the first round every year.

I am a TRUE Braves fan.....

I remember the Dale Murphy, Glenn Hubbard, Bob Horner, Steve Bedrosian and Greg McMurtry days.

I haven't watched a game since 1995 and I never will. Not until these players get their heads outta their a$$es!

Neo, I have to agree with you on the general decline in the integrity of the game, but in the midst of all this, one team is staying true to it's roots: The good ol' Bravos. Look at what Bobby Cox and John Schuerholz have done, especially this year. A team full of rookies, and there still winning, and all while the Yankees buy there victories. Don't give up on the great American pastime, the Braves are it's heart and soul. And you know there's nothing like October.

Good points. I've always been a Braves fan, and while there have been some times when I got fed up with MLB in general, I always end up coming back and pulling for the Braves. They represent what baseball should be and win a lot of games while doing it.

I gotta say that I don't really like how baseball is becoming as far as the financial aspects, but I still watch every game that the Sox play, and I still live and die with them (Red Sox, not White). I hate the way so many players change teams all the time and the way the Yankees drive up the prices of all sorts of players and their team and then force others to just so they can compete. I also want to add that I think the Twins are a great example of how the league should be. They keep alot of their players, they have a pretty low payroll, but they still make the playoffs pretty consistantly.
