Texas already has 22 committments. They have two 5 stars and 10 4 stars already. They also have a really good shot at 5 star QB Mitch Mustain. Their class is just sick.

To add to that, only 1 of 22 committments is from out of state. And that is Ben Alexander, a DT from Anderson, SC.

I actually think this is their year to do it. Oklahoma lost everything in their passing game and teams will stack the box and stop Adrian Peterson.

Yeah, well until they recruit a head coach who can mold that talent into a cohesive unit as Souther Cal does, they'll alwayz lose late in the year, finish on a depressing note (last year excluded) and end up around #7 in the polls. It's Texas football, bay-bee...it doesn't matter who's PLAYING..as long as Mack Brown is wearing the headset there, they'll be the best also-ran team in the nation. I think Mack Brown is a decent enough coach...just not the type the Longhorns need to get them over the hump.

I believe you'll see that Romar was a much better QB than White.

White was helpless in last year's game, too. It as AP "all-day" and a stingy OU front seven that won the game. I say Stoops pulls it out with defense and an effective running game this year.

I forgot that they had Rhett Bomar.
