Ole Miss possible for the Peach Bowl? I'll take it.
Also, CFN changed their website. It's suffice to say it looks infinitely better now that it has like colors and you know, pictures.

Arkansas vs. V-Tech in the Peach Bowl? I don't think we've ever played there. Plus, umm, isn't V-Tech supposed to be very good this year? I've seen a few preseason mags tab them as their No. 1 team in the country over the Trojans. I'd be happy with a bowl though, so I don't care who we play.

Possible long shot. It would be great though.

No respect for South Carolina what a shock! They have us having a lossing record and probably no bowl. I love being able to prove people wrong. We will easly make the Indepentance or Music City Bowl. This idot has not enough SEC teams making bowls. Must have SEC hateritis. What a joke.

Not to mention he has just about every ACC team, but Duke playing in a bowl.

I'll bet you will. I think you're gonna have to fight Phat Phil's guys in Orange for it though.

I wouldn't mind playing Iowa although I would prefer to play in a better bowl. Iowa sure has gotten cocky after beating UF and LSU.

I think USoCal could play Texas in the NC Game. I think those are the two teams with the best chances of going undefeated.

Oh, stop it! This is just pathetic. Figure another way to pass the next 55 days, 19 hours, 56 minutes, and 14 seconds....if your counting.

Definitely counting, Reb. This is probably the slowest of the slow in the off season. I watched a replay last night of last year's LSU / Arkansas State game where the Tigers put up over 50 points against that east-Arkansas powerhouse. Ha-Ha Man, JaMarcus Russell really looked sharp. I have renewed faith that he is gonna be the man this year.

Considering they picked two teams to get into BCS bowls, that is quite a reach. How is Tennessee going to get to the Sugar if LSU is in the Rose. Does Tennessee win the first meeting in Baton Rouge only to lose the re-match in the Ga Dome? I sure do not see a two loss team getting into the Sugar.
If it were to hold true, then it would be fine by me. A one loss season and two football trips to the Bayou brings a smile across my face. Of course losing to the Tigers in the SECG might make certain posters unbearable for a year or so. ;) I do think it is a given that Tennessee would destroy Pittsburgh in the Big Easy.

If SEC #1 goes to the Rose, does SEC #2 go to the Sugar?

If an SEC team is in the national championship then they have won the SEC and have forfeited the tie-in to the Sugar. It's possible for the SEC #2 to go, but not likely.

Ditto!
But, since just about everything to discuss is more wore out than Paris Hilton's skank video, the Colonel offers some comic relief:
The Depends No-Leak Bowl: ULL vs. Buffalo
The Viagra-Cialis Erectile Dysfunction Bowl: Vandy vs. SMU
The Jenny Craig Lardazz Bowl: Central Mich. vs. Utah State
The Sonic Drive-In ChiliSlawdog Bowl: UK vs. Duke
The Loudmouth Product Hawker $19.99 Bowl: Fl. Intl. vs. Indiana

Yep....
SEC #1 (if not ranked #1 or 2 BCS): Sugar
SEC #2: Capital One (vs. Big 10 #2)
#3-5: Outback (Big 10 #3), Cotton (Big XII), Peach (ACC #3)
#6-8: Music City (Big 10 #6), Independence (Big XII #5), Houston (Big XII)

Gator Boy...
Are you sure about this. I thought if the #1 team in the conference went to the Championship game, then a BCS Bowl had to take the highest ranked BCS contender. Hence the Texas/Michigan matchup last year instead of Cal/Michigan.
