Personally for me it would have to be the Denver Broncos :) I grew up in Denver (Aurora actually, one of it's suburbs) during Elway's reign..er..if you wanna call it that. ;) LOL I remember going to almost every home game with my dad and brother..once you go to a game as a child you never really forget what the magic of being there feels like.

The old logo I remember growing up

I love my Panthers. Jake Delhomme, Julius Peppers, Mike Rucker, Thomas Davis, and company. My favorite AFC team is the Dolphins.

How 'bout them Cowboys.

They are owned by a Razorback after all.

My favorite is the Panthers too. I remember when the Carolina's finally got a football team and I was really excited. They did pretty good at first but then fell off for a while. I still pulled for them even though I wasnt a die hard fan. I always pull for them no matter what, and I must say I've developed a liking for the Broncos after being with GamecocksRule. Its kinda hard to see someone you love pulling for a team without pulling for them yourself(unless she was a Clemson fan)LOL, but then again if she was we probably wouldnt be married.;) Now I have 2 teams I pull for: the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos...luckily they arent in the same conference so they dont play each other often. I would hate to see what happens if they meet in the Super Bowl though! That could get ugly :D

Yep the Falcons have something in common with the Broncos..Dan Reeves as a head coach not 'doing much' with the talent on the team he was coaching ;) When he was with Denver all of those years we couldn't seem to win the BIG ONE . Then all of a sudden we bring in Mike Shanahan and win two back to back Super Bowls! I hope the Falcons have that same luck here in the future

I know the "punishment" you speak of..my step-dad is a DIE HARD Saints fan and proudly wears his Saints hat every season. He has a sense of humor about it though..he calls them his "Ain'ts"

I drive down there and watch them two or three times a year. Dunno why but I do. Always fun and usually lose.

In my youth, I was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan (back in the days of Roger Staubach and coach Tom Landry). However, I'm not as avid of a fan as I used to be. I actually pulled against them the year Jimmy Johnson took over because I couldn't stand him and his Miami Hurricanes (they were the most classless bunch of thugs I've ever seen). It pissed me off when he was hired to coach the Cowboys.

I am back to sort of pulling for them again, though I'll never pull for them like I did way back when. I also pull for the Falcons.

I echo that sentiment. Aaron Brooks makes me so made sometimes that I could slap him silly, but the goofy bast*ard does have a lot of talent, which we occasionally see.

I never really watched much NFL until recent years, as my family was always more of college football watchers growing up. I guess if I had to pick a team that I've generally watched more often than others it would be the Packers. In recent years though, I'd probably have to say the Titans and maybe the Patriots.

I am a life-long Steelers fan. Ironically, I am also now a Titans fans since they moved into the neighborhood a few years back. I would have never fathomed that I would be pulling for the hated "Oilers" to beat my Steelers, but I did the last time they played.

My first ever sports memory was the 1979 Super Bowl. I was five and my parents threw a pretty big party for the game...for some reason, I fell in love with one of the team's uniforms, the helmet & logo in particular. I asked my Dad who they were and he just smiled and said, "Those are the Pittsburgh Steelers." I've been a diehard fan ever since....the fact that they should have lost that game but didn't also helped. :D

Baseball season came, I asked my dad who Pittsburgh's baseball team was. Bam, Pirates fan. Hockey came, whaddya know...a Penguins fan. Basketball came...what?! No Pittsburgh basketball?! So I picked the worst team in the league at the time that started with the letter "P" and picked up the Larry Nance-led Phoenix Suns as my favorite NBA team.

Not very scientific but i wouldn't have it any other wayz... :D I don't see any reason why the Steelers can't win it all this year. Big Ben will have his growing pains and they won't go 15-1 again but they only lost Plaxico Burress (which might be addition by subtraction..get Randle El more touches) and Kendrell "Which way to the trainer?" Bell....the AFC better watch out in 2k5.

I had an aunt that lived in Aurora...we stayed there when we used to make annual skiing trips to The Summit (Dillon?) & Winter Park.

I'm not a Broncos fan anymore but I used to be because (and i'm sure this will bring back memories for Bronc fans lol) for the first couple-three years of my fantasy football playing days, I had Bobby Humphrey as one of my starting RBs. :D Remember him? He was always so underrated & I always got him for much cheaper than I should have and he always took me to the league championship or deep in the playoffs before he'd get hurt and leave me in the lurch. Now that I think about it, that may be why I love to hate them so much! Childhood trauma lasts a lifetime & seeing Humphrey's name in the "OUT" section of the injury report scarred me deeply. LOL

They had a WR tandem that I latched onto too for awhile....right around the same time Humphrey was there...and now I can't remember their names & it's going to bug me all freakin day long. Thanks a lot GamecocksRule....yeesh.

Eli started playing better about the same time Kevin Jones did last year. Add Plaxico Burress, a healthy Jeremy Shockey and an offseason of work and they might just have something. ;)

Eli started playing better when he went to the OC and told him to axe most of the playbook which they should have done in his first starts anyway considering he was going against the top four defenses in the league. I agree on Burress and Shockey, but it still is going to go through Barber and the play action because that's what all Mannings do best.

HOUSTON TEXANS!! The tradition and history are unequalled......haha.
In all seriousness, though, I am a die-hard Texans fan. Reliant Stadium is AWESOME. Not to mention, it is BY FAR the LOUDEST stadium I have EVER been in. I thought that The SWAMP was the loudest I would ever be in....but it can't hold a candle to the noise in Reliant Stadium.
Growing up in New Orleans, I was a huge Saints fan in my younger years. Pain, Pain, Pain!!
I HATE the Cowboys!! Their fans are the most annoying and arrogant bunch of fans ever. Hey Cowboy fans.... 19-10....BABY!!!

I am a Cowboy fan, which means I am used to 50-year-old quarterbacks and offensive linemen too big to move and a secondary that loves the color of the flags in the refs' pockets so much they will do just about anything to see them thrown in the air. It has been a long, dreary 9 years for me.

Carolina Panthers!! They sucked a couple of years ago but I hung with them. Chris Weinke turned out to be the worst Heisman Winner to play NFL. Wow those were some bad memories. I went to almost every Panther home game even when they were 1-15 and you bet im going this year when they are going 10-6 at worst. I think the Panthers are going to be in the NFC Championship game against the Eagles. And hopefully we can beat them again. But unfortunately since the Panthers play in the hardest division its going to be hard. I hate the Falcons, man they beat us every single year. Hopefully this year we can atleast beat them once with Vick. If the Panthers dont make it to the NFC title game its going to be the Falcons.

So, you mean there is actually a professional league where these college boys can play after they leave school?!

Come to think of it, I remember reading something about that.

Seems like LA used to have a team or something.

My Dad got me into the Giants, but I have been a Panthers fan all along. I still check on some teams just because of college connections. Example, Duce Staley is with the Steelers now (I'm so glad he left Philly)
