Chase Pittman, a transfer from the University of Texas, was arrested last night in a bar fight near the campus. He said he was defending a girl, at her request. He's a 6'4" 260 lb. junior and at the top of the depth chart. Once he knocked the guy to the ground, he kicked him, the police said. Miles is "looking into it."

An LSU football player was arrested Thursday morning and charged with second-degree battery after he allegedly punched another man in the face at a university area bar, police spokesman Sgt. Don Kelly said. Baton Rouge police arrested defensive end Benjamin Chase Pittman, 22, 225 Greenhaven Drive, and booked him into parish prison, Kelly said. He posted a $5,000 bond later that morning.

It should be interesting to see what kind of standard Miles sets at LSU.

He is a mean looking booger! I'd hate for him to get after me. I'll post it whenever Miles makes a move on him.

LMAO. Hate to see more trouble in the SEC. I wish these kids could realize that they have what millions of kids dream about before the piss it away.

Ha-Ha-Ha
Quite right! But I don't think I could have ever handled him, an any age!
;)

I heard today that he posted bond and was released pending the police investigation. It was 2:22 in the morning when the incident happened, so maybe some of these athletes will come to realize there are better places to be at that time of the night/morning where these kinds of things aren't prone to drag them into the fray.
