Lets start a big arugument. Everyone seems to want to spew off a little so why not do it here so the faint of heart don't have to be offended. I think SC is going to go 8-3 with wins over Alabama and Georgia. Alabama because we have a better talent pool and coaching staff then them. Georgia because we usually play them close and Spurrier doesn't have fond thoughts of bulldogs in his head. Let the fights begin!

I think Bama beats UT because their defense is severly overrated and they will come into T-town with at least two losses (UF and LSU) maybe three (UGA).

Tennesse is very overated. I think that they will have a great team but #2 in the nation seems a little steep!

I am going to place this hear just so if anyone asks why the talent pool question for Alabama!
SC
#23 in 2005
#35 in 2004
#8 in 2003
#11 in 2002
Alabama
#18 in 2005
#15 in 2004
#49 in 2003
#30 in 2002
So if you go by recruiting classes you can definitely argue that overall SC's talent level is at the very least as good as Alabama, but more then likely better

Yeah but in all fairness, alot of the guys from our good recruiting classes are off the team or awaiting trial.

Also remember that the 2002, 2003, and 2004 recruiting classes were limited by scholarship reductions, which is an indication of less players and larger schew of a younger team when comparing Alabama to South Carolina respectively. Its more of an experience gap than a talent gap.

PC... After watching football for quite awhile, I've come to the realization that recruiting numbers mean absolutely squat. They change a good bit, depending on which source you use.... and even the ones that are fairly constant still mean very little.
There have been plenty of top-recruits over the years that were amazing in high school, but never made it big in college. For many of them, it's the first time they've REALLY had to work in their lives. Others can't take the pressures of college-level academics on top of all the practices/games/travelling/etc. It's a whole different world once these guys get to college, and the sky is their limit.... so plenty of lower-ranked high school recruits get their chance to become stars in college.
Now as far as Bama vs SC... who knows what will happen? Our defense will be pretty solid again this year, so SC is going to have to work hard and as a team to put points on the board. As for our offense, who knows? The past couple of years have been disasters on offense, as we rallied around 2-3 players and led to injuries for all of them. We've finally started to gain a little depth again, but a lot of it is going to be from Freshmen and Sophomores with little experience.
I think more than anything that it's going to be a battle for both of us, and should be a pretty good game. The defenses will both be pretty tough, so both of our teams will have to rely on their offenses coming up with some great connections between their players.

Of course I do! Can't concede anything here in July, but once play begins in September, there might be some revision necessary.

Well Beeds actually besides Manirod and Summers none of those players that I listed are actually on trail or kicked from the team. They either already graduated or had no eligibility left.
Jordon I appluad you for not being a homer. You stated Bama's weakness and strengths and made a good point.
But I do have one problem with you people, (everyone who has posted here and others who haven't) with all the hate being spewed everywhere else I tried to centralize it in one place so the other forums would be more mature. But thus far you have spoiled my plans by being mature in a trash talk forum. Even with my best attempts to cause rife and stir trouble (my first post) has gone to no avial. What shall I do?
