I gotta say it will be Howard just because he is the senior and has the most experience....but it would certainly be exciting if if was McFadden. I'm pretty sure we won't have any 1,000 yard rushers....the ball will be spread around way to much for anybody to get enough carries to get to 1,000 yards.

I'm no Hog's fan, but it will be between Hillis and McFadden. Those two young men are extremely talented. I give the slight edge to McFadden because I think he'll get the ball more.

There's no way Hillis leads the team in rushing yards this season. Even though he doesn't look, run or play like it, he is a fullback. Howard, barring a Cedric Cobbs-like freshman campaign from McFadden (which, is very, very possible), should recieve the most carries which should translate into the most yards. The easy question is who will lead the Hogs in TDs, and that, of course, is Hillis. Peyton is also an enormous threat out of the backfield to catch passes (see one-handed grab against Bama).

These three (Howard, McFadden and Hillis) along with our five returning starters from the SEC's NO. 1 offensive line (statistically) in 2004, and the Hogs should continue their trend of being one of the better rushing teams in the country.

I'm anxious to see what D. Poole can do this year too. This guy was every bit the recruit Cobbs was and damn near what McFadden was this past year. He's shown flashes, but he's been the Brodie Croyle of SEC Rbs in his first three seasons. I dunno, looks like, as usual, the backfield will be too crowded for him to get his. But he's got excellent hands too, so I'm excited to see how he can help Howard, McFadden and Hillis run the ball.

Who is going to be the starting QB? You've probably answered this question a thousand times but I haven't heard who it's going to be.

Your guess is as good as mine :)

We don't know yet. It's probably going to be So. (RS) Robert Johnson, who's been Matt Jones' understudy the last three seasons. His minimal experience gives him the leg up on pro baseball player-turned-QB Cole Barthel. We really don't know though. My guess is Rojo.

No way anyone on the team gets the ball more than Hillis.....he'll get some carrys, he'll get some passes, and he'll even return some kickoffs again. Nutt has already said that Hillis won't come off the field very much.

I voted Howard. Hillis will never leave the field but will be playing many different roles. Howard is just going to have more rushing attempts imo.

I'm excited about McFadden, but I don't see him unseating Howard this year.
