Olu Retardini must have been given some seriously bad advice....I have no problem with underclassmen going pro when they have been productive in college and have achieved all that they wanted, but this is ridiculous. Morris, Azubuke(?) are stupid as well. At least these three guys have pro type games...a la jumping high and being big....what's Matt Walsh's excuse? He can't jump, isn't big, and has a akward shot. Generally....all idiots and they are paying the price.....have fun in Romania.

You know that Louis Williams got drafted right. And I would have to say Matt Walsh,I knew he wasn't gonna get picked up,and he should have to.

There's no question Olu Famutimi made the worst move. As a huge recruit coming out of Michigan two years ago, he had a much better chance of getting drafted then. He did absolutely nothing while in Fayetteville and I for one am not sad to see him go.

Every single guy on the list certainly would've benefited had they chose to stay/go to school. Morris and Azubuike I'm a little surprised about. Both, I thought, would make decent pro's. Kelenna reminds me of Joe Johnson, except not as a good at anything and 3 inches shorter. But still, I thought he had a chance. I thought Morris' height would get him drafted in the late second round. Walsh and Roberson certainly should've stayed. Walsh does have a pretty complete game though and I'm a little, stress the little, surprised nobody picked him up.

The guy that I'm absolutely shocked about is Kennedy Winston. I just glanced at both rounds, but I didn't see him. What's up with that? Winston has an NBA game. I can't believe he didn't get drafted. That's crazy that a team would take an unproven guy like Monta Ellis, etc.... over Winston. Sucks for him.

But there's no question, Famutimi is by far the biggest idiot in this list of retards. Williams got drafted, but it was in the mid-to-late 2nd round, right? That doesn't mean at all that he'll be on a roster. In fact, I can promise you that he won't. He'll be in the NBDL, oversea's, etc...

This year, more than any other, has sickened me with the NBA and its draft. I still enjoy watching it from time to time, but it's just sad that all these excellent college players with budding careers say the hell with it and end up undrafted, playing in Yemen or something.

Good luck Olu. Have fun in Lebanon.

ALL OF THEM!

The NBA is not like the NFL. There is VERY limited space for newbies.

That's exactly right. Many of the guys who were "drafted" in the second round will never even sniff an NBA roster. I heard last night that 65% of the league are first rounders, 15 % second rounders and 20 % undrafted.

Every guy on the list was stupid, although Azubuike apparently had issues. Winston wasn't, but apprently was. I really thought he'd get drafted. Isn't he like 6'5 or so? Anybody else surprised about that?

But Famutimi is the "King of the Idiots", lol. I mean seriously, who told this guy that he had even the slimmest of chances to get drafted? Maybe he heard voices. But I could've told him that he didn't have a prayer. Maybe if he'd have come back for his junior year and upped his stats, I could've seen him playing in the league. But he'll just go down, at least in Arkansas lore, as another Scotty Thurman. Well, that is except for the fact that Scotty had a stellar college career, while Famutimi was a complete bust.

Olu should have spoken with Thurman....he could have said: "Look Olu, I averaged double digits on a team that went to back-to-back title games and won a national championship....and I wasn't drafted. Think about staying." The strangest part is that Olu had the highest grades on the team...he wasn't stupid...he had a 3.0 gpa or better. Why on earth do some of these guys decide that they would like to go into the draft as underclassmen in the last draft where high school kids can come straight out? Thats stealing slots that they could fill. In all truth....if any of them hired agents, I would sue them for malpractice or breach of fiduciary duty because they obviously don't have their best interests in mind. They should have been advised that their chances of being drafted increase after implementation of the age limit...especially Winston cause he was right on the bubble.

yeah, I know he got drafted.....you think that makes it a smart decision? Doubtful that he wanted to go late in the second round.

P.S. Lupo: did you know that Trey Biddy writes for Rivals.com? I sure didn't until today.

Yeah man. I've talked to him a couple of times. He almost got me a job in Nashville w/ Rivals.

You ready for the Jermain Taylor fight? I sure as hell am. Where you watching it? I can't go to a bar or something that's loud like that. But holla if you're gonna chill at the crib. I feel like I did before Arkansas played for the title in '94 and '95. I'm excited. I also want to see what ole Olu has to say about his bonehead move.

When is Olu gonna release a statement?

Both of my fellow UK players! I wanted them both back. My vote goes to Morris he made the bad choice even though he might be back since he didn't sign an agent and Tubby has to accept him back on the team which I don't think he will. I don't think he was ready to play NBA he had alot of improving to do. Maybe he will improve through NBA camps. Honestly, I thought KAZ would have been drafted about the mid-late 2nd round & Florida's Walsh as well. Wish the best for Randolph and KAZ.

Olu got picked up by the Raptors summer team. That will be a great jumping block straight to Europe. Olu got bad advice, and we all know this. He is a great athlete, one of the best in the SEC last season, but he had too many GAPING holes in his game like his jumpshot, which, it may only be me, is a pretty big part of the game of basketball.
