Saturday, June 25, 2005 South Carolina has been chosen to win the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference in the coaches poll released Monday. The Gamecocks are ranked as high as seventh in some preseason polls.

Florida is picked second in the East, followed by Vanderbilt, Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky. In the West, Louisiana State was the overwhelming choice to win the division. Auburn, Mississippi, Alabama, Mississippi State and Arkansas rounded ou the voting.

espn's website is running a poll on who will win the SEC. There are four choices. Three are from the east. USC is not an option.

Now Im probably the biggest USC fan there is, and I have alot of faith in Spurrier but I dont think we have a chance to win the east.

This must be a hoax, or somebody was smoking something they weren't supposed to when this was printed. First of all, I don't believe there's any way we'll win the East. Second, how can they pick Vandy ahead of Georgia and Tennessee. I used to live in Augusta and never thought much of the Augusta Chronicle anyway. :confused:

Hell, I honestly think we ARE going to win the East. Of Course, me, Cory, Moe, and Demetris just got blazed while Blake did keg stands 'till he passed out. :D
