Ricky Sapp supposedly committed to Clemson earlier today. That sucks. I wanted him really bad.

he must have grown up a die-hard tiger fan....otherwise this move would make no sense.

if that were the case though, then the gamecocks probably never had a chance anyway.

rivals is claiming it's a done deal.

Well he lives with and was raised by his grandparents so he wants to stay close to him. If anybody can wrestle him away from Clemson it is Georgia. I'm still holding out hope.

yeah, any commitment in june is anything but firm unless the kid grew up dreaming of playing for that particular school.

Right, UGA is the favorite to take a recruit away from Clemson. ;) The Gators or Vols will get Sapp before the pups do.

Well, it seems neither the vols nor the gators were in Ricky's top 4 which consisted of Clemson, Georgia, FSU, and NCST.

"I have now made the decision, through much prayer, to narrow my list to four schools. Those schools are N.C. State, Clemson, Georgia and Florida State (in no particular order)."

Now, would you like to take back that statement?

Yeah, God spoke to him and said "play football at Clemson, UGA, FSU, or NC State". It cracks me up when athletes say stuff like that....

Most people are saying that Ricky is solid to Clemson. Don't count out FSU's Kevin Steele though. He is one of the best in the business.

Clearly,

Sapp was a Clemson guy. That cannot be disputed. Regardless of what he says to the media, he had Clemson written all over him and it's not going to change anything.

According to what I'm being told, he may have problems enrolling at Clemson anyways.
