Looks like they didn't even try the first time it came out, most of those citiies are up in the north away from our awesome 100% humidity 90+ degree summer weather down here.

Chattanooga is on every bad city list sweatiest, stinkiest, ichiest, most probable to run in to a red neck, I wish we would be on a positive education list or known for something good. Anytime anybody even calls Lex and Terry from Chattanooga they have some Jerry Springer story to tell the world. I need to move.

Baton Rouge was #17.

That's okay; while we are sweating, we enjoy:
The best college football in the world.
The best food in the world.
The best music in the world.
The best fresh-water fishing in the world.
The best salt-water fishing in the world.
The best college atmosphere in the world.
And, for some, the best drive-thru daiquiris in the world.
:p
Oh, and the best looking women in the world!
:D

The best food in the world.

I dunno Geaux..something about crawfish, crayfish, mudbugs, crawdads..er..whatever you call em..that doesn't sound very appetizing to me! :D

Wow..Raleigh is #34  I guess that would account for it being in the 90 degree mark all last week here! :)

Dude... crawfish etoufee is absolutely superb! Bet you'd love it. (Boiled and seasoned crawfish tails in a creamy Louisiana sauce over rice. Very similar to shrimp etoufee. yummy!)

You gotta be a native to peel'em and eat'em, and you have to pretty much be a Cajun to suck the juices from the heads.

But, there are also succulent Gulf shrimp, oysters, speckled trout, and Red Snapper, plus great fresh-water catfish. You really can't get food this good anywhere else.

:) lol, ok well I guess I am not "native" so I wouldn't ever "peel'em and eat'em" AND I am not Cajun so I guess that is why it doesn't sound appetizing to me! I do however, love seafood..and happen to LOVE cajun gumbo..oh yeah, and I love some catfish! :)

People in the low-country of SC love their crawfish. Especially in Beaufort....

Have you ever had Beaufort stew? It's awesome. It's potatos, sausage, shrimp, and crawfish. I love it.

Haven't had it, but it sounds good. I love shrimp gumbo with good, hot French bread to dip.

Those must be some big freakin' daiquiris. Does it get the grill of your car very sticky? ;)

Ha-Ha-Ha
By the way, they are doing LSU football game reruns now in Baton Rouge. Today I had the honor of seeing the 2001 LSU / Ole Miss game where Ole Miss, led by Eli, got us, at night, in Tiger Stadium 35-24. Thought if I watched, I might be able to change the results, but it didn't work. Ha-Ha
:p

That should make your day!
