Found a site where you can watch BSU's games from last year. If you are like me you didn't get to see alot of them so it was a great opportunity for me to see what we would be facing in September.

Sanford has green grass and green hedges. BS will be so confused by the lack of blue that it will take them most of the game to adjust, and by that time, the Dawgs should be up by 24.

I think the 95 degree heat and 95% humidity is going to kill them.

Im surprised all they showed was the D in that video since there O is world famous. The game will be close Id say 34-27, these guys arent scrubs I mean Florida chickened out to play them at home!

I think this will help them in the next week against a possibly weaker Carolina team. Instead of playing a Division 1-AA school, the dawgs are facing a legit top 25 team as a warmup.

Do not take Boise State for granted. If you do, you will lose. This team may not have the best defense in the world, but their offense is outta this world and coach Dan Hawkins has them ready to go each week.

I would hate to see you get your azzes dusted by that weaker Carolina team. ;)

This past season, Oregon State went to LSU and lost 22-21.

Boise State laid 53 points on those very same Beavers the following week.

This is a team that has won 36 games over the last three seasons. To underestimate them would be a GRAVE mistake.

I do not remember the exact numbers, but I was looking the other day at their total points scored compared to other teams, and it was astounding. Over 700 if I remember correctly, compared to Georgia's 500 plus I believe. And, their defense wasn't HORRIBLE, just not great. They give up some points, but good lord, when you put up that many, your gonna win a lot of games.

I agree and I believe that Boise State is certainly not your basic "Thump-a-Chump" creampuff...especially with UGA having some important questions that need to be answered. I expect it to be a rather close game.

ESPN post spring report mentioned that UGA's defensive secondary will once again have problems with tall receivers due to lack of height. That is one serious question mark they said UGA would have. You don't wanna have pass defense deficiencies against BS.

Definitely not! Not with Hawkins' speedy pass-based offense.

Boise is coming in 19 in one poll, 15 in the other, with a 6-2 receiver starting this season which their staff says gives them a tall receiver which they normally do not have. The OL is also better than last year, with 8 starters returning on both sides of the ball. They averaged 49 PPG last season, and it doesn't sound like much less is expected this year.

Boise hasn't faced a defense with the speed and athleticism of UGA. I think it will be a close game as it should be...a great offense vs. a great defense. As someone else stated, the humidity and heat in Georgia will probably wear down the BSU players...Thats just not something you can prepare for. Prediction: UGA wins 28-17.

Boise State is a good team. I am not treating them like I would Georgia Southern. I do think it will be close at first, but we pull away in the second half. I checked the temperatures and Boise State has been conditioning in 70 degree weather. Georgia has been conditioning in 95 degree heat with humidity at a very high perentage. I think we will have a major advantage in the 4th quarter. Especially with us wearing out their defense even more by running the ball.

I don't know where you get that our secondary is undersized. Tim Jennings is undersized at 5'8" but he makes up for it with his ability to break on the ball. A 6'2" receiver isn't that big of a threat. We will just put Demario Minter (who is 6'1") on him. If we can control 6'5" Calvin Johnson, I think we can handle a 6'2" receiver.

I got that off the ESPN website, under spring analysis.

The ONLY way UGA will win this one is if their defense can come through for them. If not its gonna get real ugly. UGA just lost the winningest qb in NCAA history. The qb they are replacing him with is a totally different type of qb altogether. With their running backs and a quick qb in the pocket UGA will almost certainly be a run oriented offense, especially in the 1st game with Shockley still trying to fit into his role. If UGA's defense doesnt keep Boise State from scoring early the offense will have to totally adjust away from their strengths to try and catch up. It will be an interesting game to say the least, and one of the better games to kick off the season with.

The only way we will win is if our defense comes through? Their pass defense was ranked in the 90s in the NCAA last year. They just lost their best player on defense due to him killing a family while racing on the highway. Let me remind you, that pass defense ranking was against teams like Utah St, Tulsa, San Jose St, and Portland St. I think we will be fine throwing the ball against them. If not, we will pound away at them with our stable of backs.

We have 1 guy in our secondary under 6 feet. If we can control the best receiver in the nation in 6'5" Calvin Johnson, I think we can handle a 6'2" receiver.

We would beat them in a shootout as well as a defensive game.

Question? Did anyone actually watch a game from the link or dd they just watch to promo video? When I watched the game film I was suprised to see how much they run the ball and use it to set up their passig attack. I definatly do not think they will be able to run the ball as well vs us and their D looked slow and undersized.... But this is a team that is used to winning and will expect nothing less. This game could be a blowout or could be very SCARY, either way its going to be great to watch.
