Not sure if anyone has posted on this yet, and while it ACC Football...this is pretty dang funny, also pretty sad. Appearantly FSU may have to go to their third string QB as their proposed starter, Wyatt Sexton, went to a concert in TN over the weekend, then came back to Tallahassee and thought he was God, or God's son.
He must have gotten into the wrong batch of mushrooms or some other halucigen. At least our teams from the SEC arent the only ones getting a lot of press about their off the field problems. Too bad they have to happen at all, but this one is probably the funniest out of all the events that have taken place.

I wouldn't say it is funny. The kid has some serious problems right now. Throw football out the window. More importantly for him, he needs to get some help. And FSU will be just fine with Xavier Carter at QB. That kid is a stud.

I think the serious problem is with the amount of drugs he did over the weekend. Something that he can recover from.

looks like it wasn't drugs....or if drugs were a factor they were just part of the problem.

if the kid goes off like that claiming he's god i would imagine he's bipolar, though i suppose schizophrenia could be the cause as well.

luckily medication today should prevent any more episodes, if it is either of those, but making him take all of his medication (which could be very unpleasant) may be a struggle.

After weeks of speculation that Sexton's unruly behavior was due to drugs or a mental illness, the real cause has been uncovered. Wyatt Sexton has Lyme disease and will need months of treatment to fight the disease. This disease often causes psychiatric problems as well as a host of other physical deficits. Thus, his behavior on June 14th was likely due to this disease.

Florida State QB will miss entire season

Yeah, I want apologies from Dan Patrick, Colin Cowherd, Jim Rome, and the likes. If I was Sexton I'd sue for defamation of character or something similar. They were saying he went to "Bonaroo" the previous weekend (music fest) so the cause of his behavior must be drug related if he went to Bonaroo. These talking heads are out of control...

We have some local hosts here in the Nashville area that should be apologizing as well.

It's a shame really and I feel for him as well as his parents. Everyone in the sports media had labeled him a druggie....

A ton of people should be apologizing right now.
