Two also died in 2002.
You Tennessee people need to come down to New Orleans and let us teach you how to have a music festival! The JazzFest meets two full weekends each spring, draws in excess of 100,000 daily, has scores of bands, and has very few problems. (There was a shooting last year of someone walking from the JazzFest, but it was away from the event area and long after it was over.) New Orleans police have a lot of experience with big crowd control and their techniques and strategies are often studied by other police departments. Don't get me wrong; there are areas of New Orleans that can be very dangerous, but festivals and events (Mardi Gras, JazzFest, Voodoo Festival, French Quarter Festival, etc.) are usually very safe and well controlled.

it's drugs that are the problem at bonnaroo...not violence. if you want it, all you need to do is ask and someone will know where you can find it...no matter what it is.

That sounds exactly like what it is to me lol ...i've seen a lot but I can't recall ever being at a party, however wild, where a person takes off their clothes and proclaims themselves God....i have seen a guy who thought he was being tailed by three 4-foot tall penguins once tho, that was pretty interesting.
