The Arkansas Track Program is the most dominant program in any sport in the nation.Don't forget to include that LSU set a new world's record in the relays (one of the runners, Xavier Carter, is a WR on the football team). The LSU Tigers track and field team finished third in the NCAA meet and broke the NCAA record in the 4x400 relay with an unbelievable time of 2.59.59.
Big congratulations to Arkansas on the excellence of their track program and this new championship.

With that stat, I'm pretty happy my Gators came in second in the NCAAs.

If you have the record, you didn't get it by much.....UF ran a 3:02.47 at Texass, and that was only the third-fastest time in UF history (3.02.23 to take first the SEC championship).

Must be the clear and the cream. ;)

Yeah the SEC really dominates.. ark, fla, and lsu were 1, 2, and 3! Grats to all!

I just can't get in to Track and Field....I know we're good and all....but big whoop. In all four years I was at UA....I never saw one meet. If I passed a track guy on campus, I wouldn't even know it. I guess I should get with it. Yay, we can run fast! We can also throw things far! Just kidding....I don't care what we're good at as long as its something. I don't think I could support a dominant water polo squad though.

That's incredible. Congratulations....care to put it in a nutshell how Ark came to be the NCAA Track & Field capital of the world? That there needs to be called into sports talk radio when they rehash 'the best dynasties' debate for the millionth time.
