Leave it to the team which has changed uni's more times than they've changed the menu at Waffle House to try and make chikin salad outta...you know the rest.

Way back during the last week of Spring Practice, UGA unveiled the alterations for the 2005 look, the return to solid piping around the neck and sleeves and the move of player numbers to the sleeve from the shoulder. That's it. Yea, HUGE changes....roflmao!

Nike suggested the change as the new wick-dry fabric made the tri-color piping process prohibitively expensive. While the pants may appear to be a different color or shade, they actually reflect a better job of matching UGA's traditional Silver Britches color as the new fabric better receives the color.

All teams to whom Nike provides uniforms will be switching to this new fabric as it's cooler, lighter, stronger, and more colorfast. My newest golf shirts are made with this fabric and I can attest to its ability to keep you cool in the humid conditions found here in the Deep South.

Have your fun I guess, but it won't be the uni or the changes which your boyz will find laying the lumber upon you come 9/10.

I have to admit that I do like the UGA uni's myself. I don't know what the dood in the red is trying to show the dood in the white but I don't think I wanna know. :D

Maybe I missed it but has USC said/released anything about their uniforms for the 2005 season?

They look pretty much the same...We had always had sharp looking uniforms.

I really like them. Especially the white. Now if we would just get back to the real silver britches instead of this grey crap we wore last year.

I don't think a fark of that pic will go as far as the Clemson punters did.

Not sure about all Nike sponsored teams. I know a good bit of them are.
