Ronnie Brown #1 pick after all

Not sure if anyone cares and/or participates in fantasy football (it's where the people that "really know" pick the best players lol :D )....but my franchise fantasy football league kicked off its 4th Annual Rookie Draft and the first player taken was Auburn RB Ronnie Brown. Our 14 team league was unable to find a date where any kind of majority of "owners" could attend so we're doing it via email, slowly & surely.

As of now, Ronnie is the only player chosen...I should also mention that I've talked to quite a few of the other team owners and Carnell Williams is either going #2 right behind Ronnie or at #4 cuz the #3 team is a huge Wolverine fan and drooling all over Braylan Edwards so.... :rolleyes:

No one's mentioned Jason Campbell but you can bet he'll be gone very early in the second round, if not the end of the first....i hope he falls cuz my pick in the second round isn't until #50something overall...it'll be a miracle if he's still there. :(

I personally am trying to work my wayz up from the dreaded back-to-back picks at #16 & #17 so I can grab Troy Williamson but have been unsuccessful as of yet....thinking if I don't get into the top 6, I won't have a shot at him. :o

#2 pick was Cadillac Williams & just this morning, in my trade talks to trade up, I learned that Jason Campbell will definitely be going in the first round too.

With the ability to sign guys for multi-year contracts and the way the scoring is, it's as close to being an NFL GM as it gets, I think....my team is Dazed & Confused though the rosters won't be updated until after the rookie draft is completed. And since we couldn't get any kind of a majority of "owners" together at any one time, we're doing the rookie draft via emails....SLOWLY but surely.

It's a long story but that pick for Troy Williamson was made for me....I just have to pick the guy he wants at #16 and trade that guy and Jabar Gaffney for T-dub. :D
