Ghenghis bay-bee....the guy and those who took over for him ruled almost all, if not all of Asia and also had a lot of eastern Europe. He declared himself king at THIRTEEN YEARS OF AGE, was ridiculed for it, became king (or Khan) at 17 and promptly went on a rampage that started with crushing those who had ridiculed him in the first place.

Alexander rocked too but I know too much about him to revere him. :rolleyes: Not to mention he was egotistical enough to think he was actually a God. Voting for him would be like me having to vote for T.O. as the best WR in the NFL....lol :D

patton or rommel they could both read the world and could tell what direction it was heading . had hitler listened to rommel in a couple of situations we probably would have had a much harder time in beating the riech in ww2

and patton laid out to the world at the end of ww2 that we needed to go ahead and fight the russians then because they were going to cause us trouble in the future boy was he right

I picked Ghengis as well...It was a hard decision though as I like all the guys on here....Patton is my favorite US general of alltime...Rommel aka desert fox...He is my favorite German general of alltime...But the way ghengis conquered people...He was just awesome...

Anyways, I picked Hitler (Rommel was one of his generals) b/c he organized the blitzkrieg and introduced a plan of attack that civilization had never witnessed. A mechanized, coordinated attack that was precise, deadly, and accurate. It changed warfare forever and the 2003 invasion of Iraq (run by CINC Tommy Franks) was based and planned on the blitzkrieg type warfare, so it's definately still relevant today. Hitler's social policies however are deplorable.
