If you could schedule any of these teams to add to our schedule who would it be?

Personally, I would like a piece of Texas. The have some extremely arrogant fans and they are always hyped up but then they just blow it again. Also, I don't like how Mack Brown lobbied the voters to get Texas into the BCS when, honestly, Cal deserved that spot. The last reason is I was born in Texas and I think Austin would be a great place to go see a game.
Btw, if any other team's fans want to chime in feel free.

I say Clemson... It's already an established rivalry.... Seems only natural to me....

Yea, I would like to renew that rivalry. I do have a problem with Clemson's fans though. They are nasty. Used to throw rocks at Georgia cars and such. But what do you expect from a team who thinks petting a rock is tradition.

All the more reason you should want to embarass them every year.... I love watching UGA pick apart Clemson.... I wish USC could batter Clemson the way UGA has done over the years...

I chose SoCal (of course). I don't think that Georgia will see a defense as good as the Trojans and I KNOW that the Trojans will not see a defense as good as the Dawgs.

Not to worry, your time is coming. I bet they are scared sh*tless of Spurrier. I went over to one of their message boards and there were Spurrier threads everywhere. The same could be said about FSU fans being scared of Meyer.

Man...those are some great choices. I can narrow it down to these four:
Texass
Michigan
OSU
Oklahoma
....and from those, based upon the one I'd pay the most $$$ to see, I'll go with a home-and-home against Michigan. Big House...Between the Hedges....I think that would be amazing.
Lots of Gator fans are talking about the 12th game, and we're split about 50-50 on locking scUM into that slot. I'm against it....I think our schedule is tough enough in the SEC with F$U each year. I'd love to have home-and-homes with other big time schools every few years. I'd love to play Michigan, especially on the road. It's my favorite nc-away game in NCAA '05.
For Georgia, Texas would be my close second choice. And I agree, Horn fans need a good beating.....ah, but they get their annual butt-kicking in the Red River Shootout, I guess. ;)

I went with FSU.
1) If you play them and beat them, you'll gain an edge in recruiting.
2) It's not too far away where your fans can't go to both home and away games.
3) Anytime you beat FSU, no matter how bad they are playing, you get instant recognition.
4) It's close enough where there are fans that you know where you can talk crap to them after beating them.
5) If for some reason you lose, it's not the end of the world cause it is FSU

I went with Michigan too but I think that has a lot to do with my living there.
It'd be a good game, that's for sure. They're at least as stacked at RB with Hart and Henne is going to be better as a sophmore this season than almost any QB in the SEC. They have some playmakers at WR too...they'll score points. The problem is, so can anyone going against their defense unless their name is Indiana or Western Michigan. But if they got their defense to show up at all...even to make just one big play...UGA would definitely have their hands full.
I would very much like to see that game now that I think about it.

Going with OU because they tried to take away our DE coach. JK I would love to see us get a home\home with either them or Texas.

Unless we move to a playoff, though, I really can't see many of the top-tier teams knocking heads with another powerhouse. Most ADs, HCs, players, and fans don't want to jeapordize their nc hopes in the first two weeks of the season. I think if we had a playoff, we'd see many more programs willing to take a shot at those big, nationally televised games.....I guess because conference playoff brackets wouldn't really be affected by non-conference games?

Agreed...but we can dream. Can't we?
