The best QB in the SEC is one of three Leak, Cutler, Croyle. I think it is Cutler becouse of his size his speed, and just the pinpoint place he gets the ball in, and he can throw the ball about 80 to 90 yards, so who do you think it is?

I say Leak, right now......however, I would take E. Ainge ANYDAY over Croyle..

I have NO doubt that Croyle would be up there if he could stay healthy, but of couse he can't. Hopefully this year he can but we'll see. Right now I'd have to say Cutler. To bad he doesn't have the weapons to take advantage of his skills.

Leak couldn't hold Cutler's Jock strap if they had the same talent at their respective teams.

Cutler isn't afraid to take a hit, either. Watching UF's bowl game this year, I haven't seen someone buckle before a hit like that since Tyson vs. Lewis.

Brodie Croyle should be a Heisman contender

I wouldn't say all that Noah.
What's his record as a starter by the way?

I say Cutler. You put Cutler behind a real offensive line and give him a target and he'll eat your lunch. Too bad his talent's being wasted in Nashville (no offense meant to Vandy or its fans).

I offer no excuses for Alabama football, we are what we are. Croyle has the heart of a champion.

Troxel,
You need to resize your signature. It's just wayyy too big. It needs to be 150p in height at the max. Thanks!

Ryan Perrilloux says he's the best. (Of course he hasn't taken a snap yet.)
;)
Jay cutler by far, tough, smart, etc....., give him a talented team and we're talking 1st round draft pick...

Go to "Quick Links" at the top right of the screen, and choose "Edit Signature", then click on the http://www.sectalk.com/boards/images/editor/insertimage.gif button and link to an image on the web. Keep it small though, there are board rules about the size (I don't remember the specific dimension constraints though).

Ok,just wait.I don't think he will be a great QB,but maybe the best in the SEC.

I think it's a toss up between Cutler and Leake. If you gave Cutler UF's line and recievers he'd torch the league.

Right now, I would take Leak easily over anyone else in the SEC.
Cutler has been quite good in some games for Vandy and he does have Vandy's team around him but he also has had some horrible games where he completely mis-fired on some needed throws. I want to see him produce more before I think he is the best.
Croyle has the potential to be great but hasn't really ever done anything to prove that and is coming off an injury that I have had the pleasure of feeling and let me tell you that it is a major life-change coming back.

I will go with leak.. with croyle 2nd but far behind leak...............leak will be the runner up for heisman

Leak would be my unquestioned number one. Brodie Croyle certainly has a lot of talent as does Jay Cutler. Ainge is a damn fine prospect too. I think it's safe to say that the QB level in the SEC has dropped a bit from last year. Of course that's what's going to happen when you loose guys like David Greene, Jason Campbell and Matt Jones.

The first rule in the Vol fan handbook is never give props to Chrissy Leak(he did back out of a commitment to UT), so he is off the list.
The second rule is never give credit to a Vanderbilt player, so Cutler is gone as well.
The third rule is never give Bama any props, so goodbye to Croyle.
For obeying the first three rules, I must also disqualify Erik Ainge for the Homer clause is in effect.
Since I have disqualified the top four quarterbacks in the conference(IMO), I refuse to vote any of the other QB's as best in the SEC.

2. Leak
3.Ainge

I say its Leake. I dont think we've seen just what he can do yet. In Meyers offense we will see just how much of a complete player he actually is.

I would disagree on that....have seen him get knocked plenty of times.
He was hurt for almost all of the last few games, hence the Miami pull-up's in the bowl game.

Did you see him in the bowl game? He avoided hits by sliding as if he were a NFL QB, and when he was about to get hit, he cowared and went down like a girl....hence the nickname "Chrissy Leak".
