It's going to be a top 25 matchup....I wouldn't be surprised.

My thought process behind saying they wont show up is that if they were going to show up in athens at the start of the season, I could see a better match up between UGA v. SC. Not just because i am a carolina fan rather i think the nation will want to see UGA play and spurrier coach. Just a little crack on our team but seriously I could see gameday in athens for that instead of boise st.

Gameday wont be there for Boise St. but I guarantee they`ll be there one week later against USC because its Spurrier`s first game in the SEC, and against the team he hates the most and you know UGA fans will be drunk as hell!!!!!!! And it will probably be on ESPN since CBS is showing the US Open(which nobody will watch)

I doubt it. It will be the top SEC game which means yet another 3:30 CBS game for us.

Ohio State should be pretty good, I doubt that Texas will rout them. The Buckeyes will have a stout "D".

Yeah but we had Lou as our coach now we have the greatest college coach of all time(yeah I said it BAMA) a great equalizer and he loves screwing over those drunks at Sanford!!!!! :D

I'd guess the latter.
It will not be a rout. I'm not guaranteeing a SC win, but the game will be close. I believe several of you UGA fans are giving Shockley too much credit for getting UGA's offense going this year. I believe you will have a good running game, but I am not convinced that Shockley is all you think he is. Bottom line.....the game will be a low-scoring, defensive game with the winning team not scoring more than 20 points (both SC and UGA will have solid defenses).

And what happened two years ago has no bearing on what happens this year on Sep 10th as most all of those starters (if not all) are gone. With that type of logic, we could say the same thing about what happened in your house 4 years ago. ;)

#1 He has only played us once in Sanford Stadium
#2 He dominated us in our worst decade for football ever (The 90s)
#3 South Carolina isn't Florida and will NEVER be.

Awesome news.

Love the way this early football schedule is looking for TV viewers like myself.

Don't expect Boise St. to really be in the game that long.

BSU's QB has yet to even with his own job back due to uncertain play even during their winning streak last year. Poor defense and a poor road team won't add up to much at UGA.
