I watched the UGA spring game on CSS.And DJ looked great he threw 2 touchdown passes to Leanard Pope.He also threw another to a rising reciever Bryan Mclendon. And on the White team Joe T. threw one touchdown.David Greene,Pollack,Thomas Davis,Jeremy Thomas, and Fred Gibson were there signing autographs.I am very pleased with our running game and the tight ends and DJ.We also had big rushing games from Thomas Brown and Danny Ware.

And you didnt tell me it was going to be on css? Wish I coulda seen it. Sounds like the offense is coming together pretty good. Any big plays made on the defensive side of the ball?

I was at the game and DJ Shockley was TREMENDOUS!! He had total control over the offense and was a leader. The touch he had on his passes was very good.

The players that stood out to me were the following:

Red Team(1st team offense/2nd team defense):

DJ Shockley, Thomas Brown(This guy can flat out FLY), Leonard Pope, Bryan McClendon, and on the defensive side, Dannel Ellerbe.

White Team(1st Team Defense/2nd team offense):

WR Kenneth Harris(This Redshirt freshman has been mentioned as someone to watch for and he showed why today...Great speed and awesome hands), Tim Jennings(had a nice pick on Shockley's only mistake).

At halftime, Andy Bailey and Brandon Coutu had a kicking contest. From what it looked like Coutu won. Both Coutu and Bailey NAILED 57 Yard fieldgoals that got the crowd rocking.

Overall, I think Shockley further proved why he and the Dawgs will have a great year. He put up VERY nice numbers against a NASTY 1st team defense. The game was short and had only 8 minute quarters but I had an extremely good time. It was also good to see David Greene, David Pollack, Fred Gibson, and Thomas Davis one more time before they go to the NFL. Tickets were only $5 also!

It is going to be replayed. All you Shockley doubters need to watch this game and see what he can do when he has more than one series a game. Great touch, great armstrength, and a great leader. One thing he couldn't do today because of restrictions is display his speed. Once Shock mixes in his running game, this is going to be one lethal offense.

Pope is a BEAST....Did you guys see his 2nd touchdown today when he dragged 3 or 4 defenders to the endzone? That was amazing.

Here are photos from today's game.....

Also, another thing I noticed in today's game is that Shockley has apparently been in the weight room ALOT this spring. He's gotten bigger(In a good way) and is in excellent shape. He's probably around 200 lbs now.
