Honestly, this surprises me. I think he could have used another season.

This guy has the physical talent to be a strong player in the NBA. I wonder if he has the mental toughness to last. He seems to lack the killer instinct in a few games I saw Kentucky play. I wish him well as Kentucky does not need him anyways.

I think it surprises a lot of people here in KY but given everything that has happened to him with his dad and such...I wish him the best...but I do agree Omaha he could have used another season....
Reminds me of Tim Couch in our Football here years ago..Ran off before he was fully ready and well you see how long he lasted out there...Even though he's supposedly sidelined with an injury now.

Yeah that sucks about his dad and I'm certainly not going to blame him for making the choice for the $$. However, I'll compare him to Scotty Thurman and say he's making a big mistake froma basketball standpoint. Azubuike reminds me of Joe Johnson b/c he'll contribute in everything, however Johnson was better at everything and is 3-4 inches taller. Thurman jumped with teammated and best friend Corliss Williamson. They shipped him to Euruope and he's never played one second in the league. This is very possible with Kelenna. With all the damn babies entering the draft now and GM's foaming at the mouth b/c of their "potential" plus the influx of foreigners, i think it's a strong possibility that he could never play in the NBA. Of course, I could and probably will be wrong :). If he's anything like Joe Johnson, not only will he play, he'll be a good player. I wish him the best and can understand why he's doing it. He certainly, again like Johnson, could've used another year.

What were his averages? UK will be fine as long as Rondo stays in school.

Plus their freshman Morris looks like he's gonna be a beast.

Kentucky is Kentucky and they'll be fine, but losing their two main scoreres will hurt to an extent.
