A real life friend told me that he read on msn yesterday that the Texas football schools have decided to boycott the BCS bowls. I doubt that it's true, (this guy isn't very reliable), but I thought I might toss that out there to see if anyone has heard of anything.

I'd like to see a playoff, but don't politicians have something else to do?

I doubt most of the AD's would not be happy if it were to go through. Maybe they should do something more productive instead of worrying about football;)

No, just the BCS. Or at the very least the NCAA in College Football. They've hosed it up enough.

I would hope politicians would have something better to do, but in this case I hope they do meddle in the ncaa's business, I'm sick of the BCS, it's time to add College Football to the list of sports that determine a true champion.
