Or Perhaps....Just because you like your team's basketball team doesn't mean you have to like their Football one...Geezes who said you had to love every Sport you School Played...

well maybe you should change your fav team to ky basketball, not ky in general. As for most fans, they tend to root for there schools team

Well maybe IF you really read what I typed ...You would see that I was Generalizing in Particular...Not Speaking of myself....I was speaking up for people who may have one particular favorite sport...and UMM some of us have lives..and don't check every little thread...

That's the same Jo Jo Brown that USC was recruiting for a while a few years ago. Holtz backed off of him for something though.

Well that's your opinion just as she has hers. I don't know why people are busting others chops just because they favor one sport over another.
I didn't see you cheering Auburn's Basketball team this year AU? Why is that?

Well maybe we as UK fans know who is on our teams as well...doesn't mean we to have to rush to the Post and say it...just my 2 cents

Maybe Holtz backed off because he's a lame QB!! Dude's got a noodle for an arm. If Woodson gets hurt, we're doomed!!

Is he really that bad? I heard he was really good in HS.

The sad thing is that their football team will probably never be good because of the shadow the basketball program casts over them.

I disagree...
I think UK can win if they get the right person in there. They have almost as much history as Alabama.

I'm not so sure. I lived in Lexington (KY) from 1984 through 1989. When I moved there, some of my co-workers told me that if the football team ever got successful enough that it overshadowed the basketball there, that the head coach would be ousted. They were kidding (a little), but there is a lot of truth to it.....
That's how passionate they are about their basketball in that part of the country.

Have you noticed that none of the basketball powerhouses are football powerhouses as well? Duke, Kentucky, UNC, Wake Forest, they all suck at football.
