Whatever happened to the commercial on the radio in Alabama? i haven't noticed a lot more Bama fans or a lot of new members? maybe its just me....but i was wondering what happened? does this mean its a failure and there won't be any more commercials?

I don't think it's aired yet, but I could be wrong.... I think I remember Chris saying it was going to air in the coming weeks back when he announced it, but maybe that's just my mind playing tricks on me again. :)

According to the statistics, this site is growing by about 50 members a month.

Here are the membership statistics:


July 2004 - 7 members
Aug 2004 - 10 members
Sept 2004 - 40 members
Oct 2004 - 60 members
Nov 2004 - 34 members
Dec 2004 - 114 members
Jan 2005 - 352 members
Feb 2005 - 85 members
Mar 2005 - 48 members (So far)

Considering that the site is less than a year old and it's only advertising has been through referrals, it has grown quite a bit. Once the commercials begin, I'm expecting at least a 25% increase in membership. If everyone were to refer at least two (2) people, this site would experience a big jump in membership. Currently, we have 816 members.

We made the switch to vBulletin in April of '04. The site has actually been around since Feb. 2003. We started out with vBulletin, then went to Invision Power Board. Then, as membership grew we switched back to vB.
