blake mitchell will get the first shot at qb for the cocks..maybe, just maybe, sos can teach him a few things..that is, of course, if we can actually block for him and keep him off his back...or from just the hurries that happen when a qb has no time. that is what people are not talking about..i dont care what offense that is run..with no protection it is 3rd and 10..

I don't see why everyone is so full of "Blake" love???? As far as I'm concerned, he can stay his butt on the bench until he can learn to study film, practice and quit hanging out in 5-points so much.

He showed what he had to offer when we called on him in the UK game.

I'm personally leaning towards Antonio Heffner. :D

It's really an Admin judgement call.

If it's about one particular player, 99% of the time, we will move it into the appropiate sports forum.

ok....i saw where mike west is predicted to be a lb..i do know that he was a db in juco...i know this is all bs speculation, but does anyone think we will be better served with him at lb or to keep his safety position..cody wells and trent usher do not excite me at ss..all i can think of is that he is 6'2 215, he can make it as an undersized lb..he runs a 4.5

As Neo said, it's a Admin's call. They don't go there automatically, they are moved by a admin.

Yeah, Spurrier will put them wheverever they will fit in best in his system. I think he may be moving him to add more speed at that position. He is trying to add speed to all positions and fast linebackers can be very effective. Wherever he is Im sure he will be a playmaker.

Speaking of speed....

"Strength coach Mark Smith told Spurrier that 26 players ran the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds or faster this week in testing done in the indoor practice facility with hand-held timers. By comparison, Spurrier’s Florida squad in 2000 had 24 players at 4.5 or faster."
- The State

And this is before all the superfast recruits join the team.

And with the facilities and the strength coach I'm sure it will probably only get better. Almost every single one of the 28 players who committed mentioned the new weight room and other facilites. With the facilites and the coaching staff I think that those 2 ingredients could lead to some very well conditioned football teams.

Mitchell is going to be awesome, he was a top ten QB recruit coming out of high school, and with Mr. Spurrier(the greatest QB coach of all time) He's going to be the next Phil Petty GO COCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
