Kevin Tyler Mainord was arrested today for two counts of burglary in the first degree and two counts of simple larceny. Moe Thompson is also being investigated.

Yeah, it's gonna be a great year next season, 4-7..., j/k but damn, we are losing some talent on the field, I hope now, since we are acting like other thug schools like Miami, Tennessee, and Clemson that we can actually start winning like them...

welll......looks like we won't have to worry about grayshirting any players afterall.....it really is amazing just how 'dirty' the program seems to have gotten under holtz....i'm truly disappointed

Three things will help us from being too terribly tarnished by these incidents in the long run.
1. There's a new administration, and these are all Holtz's players that are royally screwing up. Spurrier isn't giving them any leniency.
2. Most importantly, as far as the media is concerned, we aren't as good as Miami, UT, etc. were, so it's just not as big of a story.
3. None of these scandals have involved recruiting violations or academic cheating....at least so far.

First Degree Burglary is what I've just read, not good for either. Very surprised Thompson was involved, the guy had a Pro future imo, not familiar with Mainord.
Hate it for y'all Carolina fans, but the guys who are NOT messing up are the ones who still need y'all behind them and I know that you will be.

Geez it's shaping up to be a rough offseason for you guys. Good to see Spurrier being firm with everyone, though I wonder what all these shakeups will do for team chemistry. Hopefully it will make the team stronger, but you never know. None of these guys have been team leaders, right?

Geez it's shaping up to be a rough offseason for you guys. Good to see Spurrier being firm with everyone, though I wonder what all these shakeups will do for team chemistry. Hopefully it will make the team stronger, but you never know. None of these guys have been team leaders, right?
Moe Thompson is a defensive leader even though last year he was relatively invisible, D-Summers was not what you would call a leader. The rest of them are not worth mentioning, It's sad to have to get rid of these players in this way, but in my opinion, good riddance! I think this will only make the team stronger. Teams have a way of rallying around each other when they think they have lost one of thier better players. (I.E. Outback bowl without Derrick Watson, the most inspired game we played that year)

Shockingly, some editing has been done at www.moethompson.com. The letter from TT certainly insinuates that Moe didn't do it, and I sure as hell hope that's true, but I doubt it. Anyone who's sending insulting or disparaging emails to this guy or anyone associated with Moe needs to stop though. They obviously didn't have anything to do with this, so harrassing them is just absurd and wrong. I know I'm preaching to the choir on that one, but I thought the website as a whole was an interesting side note.

Hey if things keep going like this all yall will need to do it put a tv and a vcr in the endzone and ya boys shouldnt have any trouble at all scoring hehe I can hear the battle cry now.... "run like you did when you was runnin from the popos last week" hehe just kidding so dont get mad or anything. Atleast ole Steve is showin them he wont tolerate this kinda behavior and kickin them off the team.
