boy, SEC sure is a major powerhouse early this year........We are usually good, but 4 in the top 10 is outstanding....I would not be surprised to have 5 teams top 10 at some point. Only thing is.....can they keep the ball rolling. One season of success does not constitute a program. Dont know much about UF. I know carolina and lsu are solid. UGA is a little suspect with their bats. I know they have the pitching to get there, but can their bats come to life for SEC play? We will all see. One thing I am certain of is that this promises to be one hell of a season for SEC baseball.

Les I agree the SEC is strong, but come confrence play we are going to beat up on each other so bad it will be hard to keep this many teams in the top 10

USC has outscored opponents 98-19. We haven't really played anyone yet but I'd say that is pretty telling. S. Pearce is a baseball god: 3 games, .615 BA, 8-13 at the plate, 3 HR (2 Grandslams), 10 RBI. In one word: "AWESOME, UNSTOPPABLE, INCREDIBLE, etc...". S Tollesons' got his back and C. Paxton looks as though he may be the replacement SC needed for Landon Powell. And this is all before we get to the pitching staff! After the Pepperdine Classic, SC A&T (Clem's son) will be facing a top 5 team shooting for a 15-0 record, no envy here. The true test begins with the SEC schedule though. The Train's coming to Wofford next and not planning on stopping until it makes a few laps around Omaha.

And, BTW, they lost to Ga Southern.

Wonder what Tulane did to be ahead of an undefeated Texas team that played for the championship last year, and an undefeated USC team that came in third.

Tulane was beaten by the same Pepperdine squad we play next weekend in Minnesota.

SC should have been second last year seeing how "weak" our side of the bracket was and how "awesome" Texa$$ was (HHHHHAAAAAAA). No way but up for USC Baseball.
