Richy Gandy has a torn ACL

Gandy, a fith year senior, was expected to compete for a starting job on the OL. At worst, he would have played utility man for the Volunteers offensive line. More than likely, Gandy's career is over at UT. He tore the ACL is a pick-up basketball game.

That is bad news for him and the Vols. The center position is a cause for concern and he was expected to challenge for that job. We need an answer there. Hopefully, mcneil will be ready, but true freshmen on the line is the sec is tough.
