I love our girls, but watching the guys is pretty much a clinic in poor basketball. Bad defense, shot selection, no rebounding. It really is very hard for me to watch them play.

Yeah they are pretty bad,but they still aren't as bad as UGA.

I keep hearing that Buzz will get another year As a Bama fan I hope that is true. I personally think that he should be contacting Century 21. RTR

See, a Tide fan and Vol fan can agree on something. I want to like Buzz, but he just can not get the job done. His ability to evaluate, recruit, and develop players is average at best. Tennessee needs someone who has all the skills. Phil the AD needs to come off some money to get the right coach.

Buzz has 4-5 players on the roster that should be in the OVC.

I agree with most vol fans that Buzz is a good guy. Also, being a Carolina fan, I want him to succeed. I am afraid that it will not happen though. Tennessee is a very bad basketball team and they have no excuse. Despite the mediocre history of the basketball program, it is still a big time program with the resources to succeed. I am tired of people saying that we should be satisfied with middle of the pack at best. I know who Buzz is recruiting this year, Tyler Smith, Willie Kemp, Jamont Gordan to name a couple. These guys are great athletes who excell at the high school game, but I question the court smarts and basketball savvy that is required to be a successful D-1 player. Also I don't know if I trust Buzz's judgement of talent. I mean, this is the guy who recruited Dane Bradshaw, who could be the worst basketball player I have ever seen. I believe UT will give him another year, they don't want to pay three coaches. I hope if they look to change though that they give Matt Dougharty(spelling) or Eddie Fogler a look. Matt got caught in a series of inevitable events at Carolina. I believe he can coach and I know he can recruit. We all know Tennessee needs recruits.
