I'd say you're right....and you can't fall asleep at the wheel going to Alabama either, 'specially the way they've been playing at home this season. This probably should have been easy to see coming though, back-to-back upsets against the caliber teams like UK and Alabama is real tough to do.

No...it's not that. We just aren't that good.
Odom's recruiting is his biggest weakness, and in games like this, it really shows.
There is not a reason in the world Alabama should out-recruit USC in hoops, but there it is.
Until Odom steps down or is canned, we will never be better than a mediocre program.
We play hard and are fairly well-coached......but without true talent, that will only get you so far. Any team that loses to Auburn and Clemson in the same season — AT HOME — can't be all that good, regardless of the Kentucky win.....which is looking more and more like a fluke.

Alabama is a beast at home compared to being on the road. I'll see if I can find the numbers, but it is crazy the difference in home vs road record for the Tide. If this game was in Columbia, I believe USC would have given the Tide all they could handle.

Nice win for the Tide today. Defense was strong and the shots were falling. Big week coming up. RTR

Very big week. @LSU and Kentucky at home. LSU is playing very well. It will be tough to beat them down there and I really would be pleasantly surprised if we won. I can't wait for next Saturday vs. UK though. That one should be a dandy.

Alabama was clearly the better team, and let's face it, with their torrid shooting, even Kentucky would have fallen to them today.
An excellent group of support players with noone to support will always be middle-of-the-pack. The lack of a dominant post presence has never been more evident than in games like this.

This just in, Bama is really good. They have shooters, rebounders, and they are all long-armed guys who can really bother the shooter on defense. The SEC was pathetic against other conferences early in the year, but I would not be surprised if Kentucky and Bama advanced several rounds when March Madness starts.

Roll Tide Roll , the boys are on a great roll at home and we are lookin fwd to the showdown with the Cats. I think Bama will pull it out by 5 points.
