I don't think Bama is deep enough to win it over 3 games and I really hope they win 1 and go home and rest. That is what helped them last year in the NCAA tourney -- they were rested.

I can't wait for the SEC tourney. It's gonna be wide open. I think that there are eight teams that feasibly could win 3-4 games in a row. Of course, the favorites would be Kentucky, Alabama and Florida in that order. Miss. St. would follow them. But watch out for South Carolina and Arkansas. Those two teams could really shake things up in the tourney. I can't wait. Anybody going? SEC tournies are sooo much fun!!! I used to go all the time when the Hogs were good, and it's just great to get a chance to see every SEC team play within a four day period.

Yeah, the 40 minutes of hell teams were great. They were even more fun to watch. God, Arkansas and Kentucky used to have freakin wars in the SEC tourney. Some of the best games I've ever seen. That's actually what got me into college b-ball so much.

The great the about the SEC tourney is parity. I know it's called the Kentucky Invitational, and they usually do win it, but not everytime. I can remember Arkansas' only SEC tourney title was in like 1999 or 2000 (not sure). They were barely .500 and had no chance of an NCAA tourney birth. They beat 4 ranked teams in 4 days and won the damn thing, making the big dance. This year, there isn't even 4 ranked teams in the conference and there are some dangerous teams in the 4-7 holes in the league. State's got Frazier back, or will soon. If he's at full-strength, they're a serious contender. USC just beat Kentucky last night, they're very dangerous. LSU and Arkansas have the talent to make a run at it too. But right now, I think the favorites would have to be UK, Bama and Florida. Any one of those three teams are easily talented enough to win the tourney, especially bama and UK.
