Yeah, Pete Fiutak has a definate bias against SC, and def. against Steve Spurrier for coming to South Carolina. I was kicked off of CFN because I fought him on this very issue. I'm so sick of their bias and bulls**t. I called Pete out on it and what happens? He deleted my account.....

Well he professes to be a Tenn fan. We have already witnessed the skepticism of Carolina doing anything this year on this very board. I'm taking the quiet serenity approach to this year, or at least am now. There's a smile on OBC's face for a reason and I believe it has everything to do with the talent he sees on the team and what he can do with it. Unfortunately, Carolina will not get any respect until they start whooping some a$$. When that happens everyone will be saying "hey I knew it all along". Then they can't discount the fact that, "I was a gamecock when it wasn't cool".

Yeah....I think a lot of the media is seriously angry that South Carolina is trying to get better. I've always believed the national media prefers to have the "traditional powers" remain in place.....and hates it whenever a newcomer tries to make the scene.

You can bet that had Spurrier gone to Texas or Michigan, they'd be singing his praises.

the fans of carolina deserve something good to happen to them. they have been faithful for some many years but have nothing to show for it. we have had some mediocre seasons (good by our standards), but it is time to take it to the next level, and i think the ole ball coach is the man that can and will do it.

I have to agree with RW here. This Pete fellow has not said anything positive about USC as long as I can remember. :mad:
