I plan on it. Any guesses as to how many may show up?
30, 40 thousand? (If weather cooperates).

I figure with admission being free and everyone being so excited about seeing the fun n gun we may have 50 or 60k, heck who knows might even pack it out.

I'm coming down from NC! I'm going to bring my 8 year old son who already worships at the Gamecock alter. I'd love to meet up with you crazies and say "Spur's Up!?!"

What's the greatest number of people to show up at a spring game, approximately?

What's the greatest number of people to show up at a spring game, approximately? The story associated with the announcement says 19,200. I fully expect that number to be eclipsed. It also says that 20,000 plus was the norm during the Joe Morrison days (obviously didn't keep track of numbers).

I plan on going to the game. I am bringing my girlfriend from Philadelphia. She has never been down South, so I figure that weekend would be nice to show her my old school and the city of Columbia. I had her cheering for the Gamecocks last season, and I told her how good Sheldon Brown(Philadelphia Eagles) was when he was a cock. She is very excited to see the game!

Believe it or not, but yes......I'm planning on being there. I know my son has never been to a spring game, so I'm planning on convincing him to go with me.
His mother and I divorced when he was very little. I was in the navy and traveled around quite a bit, while he was raised in Columbia. Now perhaps you understand how my own offspring could become so misguided. ;) Retired from the canoe club now, I settled in Columbia but we don't let the rivalry inhibit a long awaited father-son relationship.
I actually make it to a few Carolina football games each year and this season I'm sure I'll introduce him to a number of my Gamecock tailgating buddies. :)

There needs to be a specific tailgating spot for this game....maybe a SEC Talk Banner hanging up to indicate the meeting place......just a thought.

I will be there, I think a good place to meet would be in the fairgrounds next to the brick entrance for the state fair.
