So I was just watching the 'Skills Competition' on Fox that Maurice Clarett dropped out of. It seems that Troy Williamson took his place, and he won both the 'hands' and 'speed' competitions over Cadillac Williams, Braylon Edwards, and Mark Clayton. He won two huge plasma screen TVs and some respect for Gamecocks everywhere, hehe. At the end he said he was just representin' for the u. of South Carolina and the SEC, "that's how we do it!"
GO COCKS!
I was so excited at the end of the NFL season when I realized the Giants (obviously my team) were going to be able to draft one of Williamson, Edwards, or Mike Williams in the first round. Then I realized they traded their 1st rounder this year for Eli last year. Sigh. Maybe the can get Clayton in the 2nd round.

I noticed that too. I think in a weird way, that may have been his way of saying "Thank You" to USC for everything they have done for him. (Including the fans)
That's PURE national exposure for USC also.

David Greene was in the QB competition but he didn't win anything.....Aaron Rodgers won all the QB competitions. Rogers was the only one that could hit the target in the distance competition, hehe.

No, he didn't do well in the competitions, but it's not like it would hurt him in the draft. He actually threw it farther than Rodgers in the distance competition, but it was off-line so it didn't count. The scouting combine in a few weeks and private workouts are all that really matter at this point anyway. Have you heard any estimates for when Greene might be drafted? I would imagine 3rd round at the absolute earliest, but that's just my guess.
