Clemson anyone?

Does Clemson play basketball? :D

Ya know, even after being out of the ACC for nearly 35 years, USC still has more tourney and road wins in the ACC than Clemson does.

Why is Memphis an option? Are they a school that everyone hates? That's news to me. You should've put Kentucky on that list instead. With all of their successes I'm sure they're far more hated then Memphis.

KENTUCKY, because it was a poll based on non SEC schools. When kentucky is not involved I always pull for other SEC teams in all sports. Even if Kentucky gets beat by UT or somebody in football I don't hate those teams as much as some of the other national powers like Michigan in football and Duke in basketball.

I included Memphis because of rivalries with Ole Miss and Arkansas.

Probably should have included Clemson and NC state for some of you.

I always watch SEC games on Jefferson-Pilot.

How do other SEC fans feel about Kentucky in basketball.

As I've said before I pull for all SEC teams as long as UK is not involved. I wish Kentucky could put a good football team together, But its tough because as far as I'm concerned the SEC is the best in football.

Auburn got the shaft this year as far as I'm concerned they are the National Champs!

The SEC is a great conference, I was watching the year that LSU won the college world series and I was pulling for them.

I am always interested in the Natural rivalries in the SEC.

The Iron Bowl for example. Its fun to watch.

Kentucky should have a decent baseball team this year, but I know there will be 5 other tough teams in the SEC EAST.

This will be the fifth year in a row that I take a March Madness vacation it starts March 10 so I can watch the SEC tournament. I always watch the other SEC games on Saturdays on Jefferson Pilot.

All SEC fans should be proud every school has things to be proud of in certain sports.

Following are some of my favorite players from SEC schools:

Alabama-Antonio Mcdyess. Enos Whatley, Sam Shade, Gerald Wallace, Buck ? sorry can't remember last name played in Alabama in the early 80's....

Auburn- Who else the Persons, Charles Barkley, Chris Porter....

Georgia- Herschel Walker, Vern Fleming, Dominique Wilkens....

Florida- da meat hook, Demetri Hill, Andrew Declerq used to kill UK.

Arkansas- Scotty Thurman, Mayberry, Corliss Williamson, I like Matt Jones, remember the 7 ot game last year he was something.

LSU- SHAQ, Roland Daveys a couple of years ago LSU was the hottest team in the country, if there had been playoffs they would have won the National Championship.

Mississippi State- Eric Moulds,Erick Dampier, etc..

Ole Miss- Eli Manning, Ansu Sesay....

South Carolina-Carlos Powell, Watson and Mckie from about 1997. They were tough on UK that year....

Tennessee- Peerless Price, Dale Carter, Allan Houston...

Vanderbilt- Dan Langhi. Kevin Anglin, Barry Cohen...

There are many others just can't recall all the names now.

I'm proud to be a SEC fan!

I can't stand Memphis. I guess it's only because they are an Ole Miss nonconference rival.

I pull for any SEC team when they are playing a non-conference team. In league play it depends on what the standings are and how it helps/hurts USC. If the game doesnt affect USC I'll usually pull for the underdog or whoever's on the road. I hate the Big East. Uconn, Syracuse, Notre Damn, Pittsburgh, just mentioning those teams makes me shudder.

While the SEC regular season is still in swing, I am not the biggest UK fan. It is hard to pull for a team not only within the SEC that you play against but in the east no less. However, when the NCAA tourney begins, I would like to see all 12 SEC schools make it to the tourney and have all of them in the Sweet 16, then 8 in the Elite 8, 4 in the Final Four, and so on.

I guess with the increased hostility with Miss st i would have to say they lead the pack. Gosh i wish we had the " Ole Ball Coach".
