If it's Will Newell of Irmo High School then yes, this kid does have heart. I went to high school with his older brother who was also a good player. Newell had something like 236 tackles last season alone and led Irmo to a state championship which they lost to Freddie Brown's Byrnes squad. The cocks are talking to Newell about a preferred walk-on slot. At 6'2" 225 lbs I could see him as being a good fullback on the next level.
